ABOUT ME

I’m Vickie Covington, MS, ILP, LPC, a licensed Therapist based in Little Rock, AR- here to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters. I truly care about my clients’ well-being and guarantee top-of-the-line counseling and psychological services catered to their needs.

I am trained in EMDR, which is an evidenced based trauma treatment. I am also trained in EFT, and Gottman which is an effective treatment for couples and also is evidenced based treatment for couples and relationships.  I am also trained in DBT which helps with emotional reactions, often found in Bipolar Disorders or Borderline Personality Disorders and this is an evidenced based treatment. 

Since 2010, I have provided many specialized therapeutic services to those dealing with challenging life experiences. Client well-being is my number one priority, and I go above and beyond to help them through all their obstacles. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1996 in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. I obtained my Master of  Science in Marriage & Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling from Harding University in 2010. Continuing my education in 2011,

I began attending Amridge University in Montgomery, AL completing all coursework for my Ph.D. in Professional Counseling, pending dissertation. My dissertation is still in process.
